Lyne overlaps substantially with the state seat of Oxley and a group Independent Oxley has recently been formed intent on finding an Independent State candidate for Oxley.  This group were not able to find a community candidate in time for the current election and so we advise voters scrutinise the policies of Independent Candidates carefully before they vote.
